For now,I looked after a few laptops, 15'' or 17'', I want to use it for school, maybe a 15'' will be better. Look on my comparisons:

1500-2000 USD (the less money, the better for me )
2) What size notebook would you prefer?
c. Mainstream; 15" - 16" screen

I prefer HP and Dell
I think Acer is too bad quality, Alienware is to expensive, Toshiba too expensive, just like Apple...
5) What tasks will you be performing with the notebook?
Occasional gaming, I want to have good performance, 2 baterries (that I'll be able to use the laptop long without energy) I want to take it to school everyday
6) Will you be taking the notebook with you to different places or leaving it on your desk?
everyday to school and I'll use it at home
7) Will you be playing games on it; if so, which games?
new games but it's not so important to play games, which doesn't mean, I wouldn't like to to play the newest
How many hours of battery life do you need?
the more, the better. I would like to be for something about 5-6 hours online with 2 batteries.
9) Do you mind buying online without seeing the notebook in person?

10) What OS do you prefer? Windows (XP or Vista), Mac OS, Linux, etc.
Vista, but I don't know if it's important to have Ultimate

Standard
a. XGA -1024x768 - Large and easy to read text + graphics icons, but you fit less stuff on the screen.
b. SXGA - 1400x1050 - Compromise resolution between XGA and UXGA.
c. UXGA - 1600x1200 - Very small text and graphics icons, you can fit lots of stuff on the screen.
Widescreen
d. WXGA or WXGA+ - 1280x768/800 or 1440x900; Wider viewing version of XGA, good for movie viewing or spreadsheets.
e. WSXGA+ - 1680x1050; Wider viewing version of SXGA, good for movie viewing or spreadsheets.
f. WUXGA - 1920x1200; Wider viewing version of UXGA, good for movie viewing or spreadsheets.
not sure, maybe a not too high resolution...
13) Do you want a glossy/reflective screen or a matte/non-glossy screen?
I think matte would be better, but I'm not sure. I don't want to have a mirror from the screen, while using the laptop outside.

DVD-RW (HD DVD and Blue-Ray are far too expensive)
