Lenovo uvidelo na trh novu radu multimedialnych notebookov - IdeaPads

Lenovo just announced a new consumer line of notebooks under the name IdeaPad. This line will include three series of notebooks; the Y710, Y510, and U110. New to this line of notebooks are Dolby Home Theatre Speaker Systems, touch-sensitive multimedia controls, and "Frameless" screens. All models will also include VeriFace facial biometrics security software, offering consumers an alternative to fingerprint scanners.

The IdeaPad Y710 is a 17” widescreen multimedia/entertainment notebook, offering an ATI HD2600 video card, optional Blu-Ray DVD, Halo screen bezel lighting, and a hot swap secondary drive. Another feature we are really curious about that is unique to the Y710 is a control area next to the keyboard with a LCD readout along with other media controls.

Ha ha, 17" notebook a nabizeji rozliseni displeje jen 1440x900, to je strasne. Jediny zajimavy model je ten U110, ale to tu bude urcite silene drahe.

to leskle prevedenie vyzera dost hnusne. a po chvilke prace na nom ked sa to zacapka to bude vyzerat este hnusnejsie. ale dnes podla tych komentarov cim lesklejsi povrch tym "genialnejsi" design

libi se mi ta moznost SSD .. i kdyz cena za GB je asi porad dost vysoka tak to bude draha konfigurace..

Conclusion

The Lenovo IdeaPad Y510 is a solid notebook with some innovative features that deserves close consideration. Lenovo has taken a giant leap from their popular ThinkPad line of business notebooks in an attempt to attract general consumer laptop shoppers. The IdeaPad Y510 isn't just a cheap ThinkPad in a pretty plastic shell, it's a unique notebook that has a lot to offer consumers who need a reasonably priced desktop replacement with good multimedia features.

Sure, we would have liked to see an HDMI port and dedicated graphics option (here in the US) for a can't-miss multimedia package. But the lack of these features is hardly a deal breaker for most consumers. In fact, the only "serious" negative issue with the new Y510 is the overly reflective glossy screen. It's one thing to have a glossy screen, but it's something else when the display is so reflective that it might as well be a mirror.

In the end, if you can live with the reflections on the screen (and the fact this isn't a ThinkPad) then the IdeaPad Y510 is one of the best 15-inch consumer notebooks currently available.

Doufam ze me nezacnete lincovat kdyz napisu ze me se to hodne libi Rozhodne bych to nevidel jako notebooky na praci a myslim ze k tomu ani urcene nejsou ale tak pro domaci uzivatele mlady (dorost) a td.... myslim ze pro takove lidi budou hodne zajimave.... desing je dle mne dost povedeny na tuto cilovou skupinu a ze to ma leskly panel..... to uz je vec druha take by mi to vadilo ale jinak myslim ze je to zajimave oziveni nabidky.
PS: Osobne bych si to nekoupil me vyhovuje ThinkPad ale myslim ze je to zajimavejsi a oslovuje mne to vice nez Lenovo3000

Souhlasím, design je výbornej (teda až na lesklou 110), vychází ostatně z TP, což je designově povedenej stroj (není to totiž excentrická podivnost jako XPS nebo Pavilion, nemluvě o Gemstonu - a přitom je rozhodně zajímavější, než obyčejný Asusy, Compaqy a Latitudy).

Ale jinak mě IdeaPad neoslovuje. Sice bych u TP přivítal lepší reproduktory a HDMI, ale to je asi tak všechno.

Lenovo Discontinues 3000-series Laptops & Desktop PCs

Entry-level Lenovo 3000 laptops and desktops have been dropped by Lenovo completely and the existing lineup of IdeaPads & IdeaCenter desktops will take their place.

The Y-series IdeaPad notebooks, Y710 and Y510 to be precise, will be the new face of entry-level laptops from Lenovo and replace the 3000 series products. Similarly for the desktops, Lenovo 3000 K100 is only history material now and only the IdeaCentre K210 will be up for grabs moving forward.

The 3000-series products never really had any fan following like the company's very own ThinkPads or some of the other brands which are quite popular. Considering Y710 and Y510 are relatively good looking, nicely spec'd and start at $669 mark, not many will miss the 3000s.

U330 bude mat 13,3" displej s LED podsvietenim, aktivnu ochranu HDD a hybridnu grafiku podobne ako niektore thinkpady.

Ten blabol z laptoplogic je blbost - Lenovo 3000 neboli entry level notebooky ale soho/smb produkty. To, ze si ich kupovali aj "normalny ludia" na tom nic nemeni .
IdeaPad su zase ciste consumer/retail produkty a do konca roka ich na 99% v CR/SR nepojde kupit.

V USA sa da za 1000 dolarov kupit uz slusne nadupany NB...
